Game 95: Perfect 10th

Tonight's game story: Bryce wins it, scrubs tack on.

  • Rock steady: Jordan Zimmermann (+25.7%) gives up 1 run in 6 innings with 6 Ks and no walks, but gets (yet another) no-decision for the effort.
  • Win-loser: MIchael Gonzalez (-15.3%) strikes out 3 in relief, but gets a metldown for allowing a game-tying solo shot (-24.5%).
  • Lets his colors burst: Ryan Mattheus (+11.5%) gets 3 big outs late to keep the game tied for a shutdown.
  • One-man offense: Bryce Harper (+33.7%) hits a two-run bomb for the lead in the 1st (+15.7%) and singles in the winning run in the 10th (+18.7%).
  • Also, his OPS is 1.100: Tom Gorzelanny (+7.9%) gets a shutdown with 5 scoreless outs to end the game.
  • Ralliers: Sandy Leon (+10.5%) `is 1-3 with a walk and a shark-assisted ROE to put two on in the 10th (+11.7%). Steve Lombardozzi (+10.1%) follows up with a bases-loading single to set it up for Harp (+13.6%).
