• ALDS Game 5 - Sonny Gray made quite an impression in his first postseason start, holding the Detroit Tigers to four hits in 8.0 scoreless innings of work in the Oakland A's 1-0 win in Game 2 of the five-game ALDS. Justin Verlander threw 7.0 scoreless that night, giving up just four hits as well, but he received no decision. Tonight they match up again in Game 5 of the ALDS as the A's and Tigers play one more to decide who moves on to face the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS.
