• ALCS Game 2 - The Detroit Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the ALCS with last night's 1-0 win in Fenway Park in Boston. The Red Sox look to even things up tonight when they send right-hander Clay Buchholz to the mound against Max Scherzer. Buchholz, 29, received no decision in his one ALDS outing, giving up seven hits, three walks and three runs, all earned in six innings of work in the second postseason outing of his career. Scherzer, 29, made two appearances in the ALDS with Oakland, giving up six hits and three earned runs in 9 IP. He makes the eighth postseason start of his career tonight at 8:00 pm EDT.
