AL Wild Card GameThread: Tampa Bay Rays At Cleveland Indians

So we're all totally behind one-time Washington Nationals' outfielder David DeJesus, right? DeJesus is being rewarded for the tough times he spent with the struggling Nats. Now he's part of a run in the postseason with his new team. Congrats, David. You deserve this!!

• AL WILD CARD GAME: Tampa Bay Rays' outfielder David DeJesus was acquired from the Chicago Cubs after the Washington Nationals claimed him on waivers and worked out a deal this past August. DeJesus, for four glorious days, did all he could to help the struggling defending NL East champs make a run at a second straight postseason appearance. DeJesus went 0 for 3 in four plate plate appearances with the Nationals before he was dealt to the Rays for a PTNBL who ended up being 22-year-old lefty Matthew Spann. His time in the nation's capital, or at least the three days he represented the Nationals in Chicago, will never be forgotten. Best of luck, David DeJesus. You earned this!!! #formernats DH-filled action from Cleveland. Who's watching the AL Wild Card Game? FWIW: Tampa Bay was 4-2 against Cleveland this season...
