• ALDS Game 1 - The 96-66 Oakland A's take on the 93-69 defending American League champion Detroit Tigers in the first game of the five-game American League Division series. Bartolo Colon faces Max Scherzer. The Tigers knocked the Athletics out of the postseason last season with a win in the fifth game of their last playoff series. The A's took four of seven from the Tigers in the regular season series between the two teams, dropping two of three in Oakland early and then winning three of four in Comerica Park in late August. Game 1 of the ALDS starts at 9:30 PM EDT.
