ALDS Game 2 GameThread: Detroit Tigers At Oakland A's

The Detroit Tigers took a 3-0 lead early in the series opener with the Oakland A's, but Yoenis Cespedes did what he could to get the Athletics in the game with a two-run home run in the seventh that made it 3-2. That's how it ended though. 1-0 Tigers in the ALDS.

• ALDS Game 2 - After dropping Game 1, 3-2, last night in the O.co Coliseum, the Oakland A's turn to 23-year-old, 2011 1st Round pick Sonny Gray as they try to avoid going behind 2-0 to the defending American League champions. The Detroit Tigers throw Justin Verlander in the second game of the ALDS. Gray makes the first postseason start of his major league career against Verlander, who makes his 13th postseason start tonight in Oakland. Can the Athletics tie things up before they head to Detroit?
