Through 13 games in his second Arizona Fall League stint, 23-year-old Washington Nationals' outfield prospect Brian Goodwin is 17 for 56 (.304/.339/.411) with three doubles and a home run. The Nats' 2011 1st Round pick was named to the AFL's Fall Stars Game last week. Tonight in Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona, the no.1 prospect in the Nationals' organization on MLB.com's list and the no.3 prospect in the Nationals' system according to Baseball America, joins the top prospects from the Fall League in a game that's being broadcast on the MLB Network at 8:00 PM EDT.

In his first full season at Double-A Harrisburg this season, the center fielder posted a .252/.355/.407 line over 122 games and 533 plate appearances in which he hit 19 doubles, 11 triples and 10 HRs.

When Goodwin steps to the plate for the first time tonight, he'll face fellow Nats' 2011 1st Round pick Alex Meyer, the 6'9'' right-hander selected by the Nationals with the second of three first round picks that June.

Joining Goodwin on the roster for the AFL East is Nats' 23-year-old backstop prospect  Adrian Nieto, who was added to the Fall Stars roster as a replacement earlier this week. Nieto is 8 for 28 with a double, triple, five walks and eight Ks in eight games. In 110 games and 452 plate appearances at High-A Potomac this season, Nieto put up a .285/.373/.449 line with 29 doubles and 11 HRs for the P-Nats.
