USA TODAY Sports

Jupiter, Florida's Roger Dean Stadium is the site for today's Grapefruit League game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Nationals. New Nats' right-hander Dan Haren makes his fourth start of the Spring at 1:05 pm EST in a game that's available on MLB.tv, and it's being replayed later tonight on the MLB Network if you can't watch today. Haren takes on the team that originally drafted him out of Pepperdine in the 2nd Round of the 2001 Draft, facing a Cardinals franchise he pitched for in his first two major league seasons before being dealt to Oakland in the trade that brought Mark Mulder to the Cards. In three starts and 9.0 IP so far this Spring, the 32-year-old Haren has allowed nine hits and four runs, all earned, while walking just one batter and striking out seven. It will be interesting to see the radar gun readings if today's broadcast has them so Haren's much-discussed velocity can be examined. Will he be throwing the 90-91 mph fastball the Nats want or the 88-89 mph heater he was throwing last year? Keep your eyes on the radar while you're watching today's game. Here's the lineup for this afternoon's affair, which is, I repeat, Is. On. MLB.tv...

A few other notes from this morning's conversation with Nats' skipper Davey Johnson. Ryan Zimmerman's going to be taking the field for the first time this Spring sooner than later and it doesn't look like Christian Garcia is going to be ready for Opening Day and Joe Namath's in the park:
