  • Hard luck, bad pitches: Dan Haren (-24.0%) only makes it through 4.1, giving up 4 unearned runs due after a Zim throwing error, then getting charged for another 3 after he could only get one out into the 5th.
  • The Big WPA: Jayson Werth (+6.3%) is 2-4, but got his hits when we still had some hope.
  • Sinking: Roger Bernadina (-9.9%) does not make the most of this start, going 0-4 with with a first-inning GDP (-7.3%).
  • MVP: Black Box Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 (+75% Inebriation Percentage Added) is helping to dull the pain.
