Taylor Jordan threw a nine-inning, complete-game shutout Thursday night vs. the Richmond Flying Squirrels. He's won four straight starts for the Harrisburg Senators. He's 24 years old, and Baseball America called him the Nationals' No. 13 prospect before the season. Since his promotion from High-A Potomac to Harrisburg (and, technically, BEFORE the promotion), he's been absolutely lights out. He's now 5-0 with a 0.66 ERA in seven games with the Senators. He's prominently featured in our Thursday night game recap and will be again in our Friday morning game notebook, but pitching coach Paul Menhart really broke it down for us in this post. Check it out.
