  • Rough outing: Jordan Zimmermann (-41.5%) cruises through 4, but finishes wasting a 5-run lead and goes behind in the 5th. He has 6Ks, 1 BB, and 6 ER on 5 IP in all.
  • Back to back: Ryan Zimmerman (+7.6%) hits a solo shot in the 1st (+10.4%), as does Jayson Werth (+10.9%) in the next AB (+9.8%).
  • New streak: Ian Desmond (+13.7%) is 1-3 with a walk and a second-inning solo dinger (+8.2%).
  • Light years beyond your imagination: Ian Krol (+12.1%) is rock-solid in relief, getting 5 straight outs in the 7th and 8th with 3 Ks for a shutdown.
  • Showing us: Chad Tracy (+26.5%) comes through in the clutch (not that clutch exists) with a two-out solo shot to tie the game in the aeyth (+26.5%).
  • Render unto Caesar, DINGERS: Anthony Rendon (+47.2%) picks the right spot for his first major lead home run, with a two-out, go-ahead solo shot in the top of the 9th (+41.5%).
  • Only slightly interesting: Rafael Soriano (+19.5%) fans two, gives up a double, and gets some help from Adam LaRoche (-13.0%), who makes up for his o-fer by snaring a hard line drive for the last out (+14.0%).
