Welcome to the Nats, kid, here's your run. Make it stick.

Yeah, I'd want to run away from this offense, too.

  • Again, serviceable: Taylor Jordan (-16.7% pitching, +2.5% hitting) manages 4.1 IP with 1 K and 2 BBs, giving up 3 R (1 ER). It's not enough today, even with his 5th-inning single (+4.8%).
  • Brief hope: Kurt Suzuki (+12.8%) is 3-4 with a double and a two-out RBI single in the 4th for a short-lived Nats' lead (+10.7%).
  • Meltdown: Craig Stammen (-10.7%) can't stop the bleeding in the 5th, letting in an inherited runner and two of his own by the end of the 6th.
  • Repeated FAIL: Denard Span (-13.4%) GDPs to snuff a 5th inning rally (-9.6%), while Adam LaRoche (-9.6%) hits into a DP to end one in the 6th (-10.2%).
  • Two of three true outcomes: Ryan Zimmerman (+6.9%) fans once and walks three thrice in 4 PA.
