So, Haren had one good inning and the Nats led for a good half-inning before it all fell apart. Wow, did it ever fall apart. Also, Frager's Hardware here on Capitol Hill burned down. Fortunately, I don't think anyone was hurt.

  • Not on tonight: Dan Haren (-35.3%) gives up 5 ER in 4 IP on 2 Ks, no walks, and 3 HRs. Not good.
  • Also not good: Craig Stammen (-5.4%) gives up a pairs of walks and a pair of ER in 1 IP, while Erik Davis (-1.1%) has a rougher go of it tonight, giving up 3 ER despite striking out the side.
  • Play the kids: Ian Krol (+0.4%) gives up a leadoff double, but follows up with 3 straight Ks. Fernando Abad (+0.0%) fans 2 in two perfect innings to end the game.
  • Rallies: Ian Desmond (+7.5%) singles in a run in the 2nd to briefly give the Nats the lead (+10.0.%). Roger Bernadina (+7.1%) gets a pinch-hit double to put runners 2nd/3rd with one out in the 4th.
