Well, it looked like the Nats were going to be on the wrong end of a CG shutout, but they sure turned that around, didn't they?

  • It keeps building: Gio Gonzalez (+33.2%) struggles in the first couple, but settles down to throw 7 innings of shutout ball with 8 Ks and 3 BBs.
  • Three true outcomes: Bryce Harper (+17.3%) is 2-3 with a strikeout, a walk, and a two-run homer in the 4th that barely made it into the flower pots in LF for the winning tallies (+19.8%).
  • Junk timers extraordinaires: Jayson Werth (+1.3%) is 3-4 with a three-run bomb in the 6th (+7.6%), while Ian Desmond (-6.1%) pads his stats with his our three-run jack in the 7th (+0.5%).
  • I call him Zim, too: Ryan ZImmerman (+11.7%) is perfect on the night, going 3-3 with a walk.
