Nationals Hold NatsFest Today: 2014 Season Officially Kicks Off

New, comments

Are you going to NatsFest? If you are, find us and say, "Hey." We'll be there all day and if you can't make it follow us on Twitter @federalbaseball or check here for updates throughout the day. The Nationals' 2014 really gets started today. Who's going to NatsFest?

NatsFest takes place today from 11:00-3:00 PM at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.

From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM this afternoon, the Washington Nationals are holding their annual NatsFest at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. For the first time Federal Baseball will be on the scene covering the event live with player interviews, photos and hopefully some conversations with fellow Nats fans throughout the day.

If you don't already follow us on Twitter (why don't you follow us on Twitter?) you can follow us right here through this handy widget for updates, pics and whatever we come up with:

On hand to meet with fans and reporters throughout the day will be Nationals' players like new left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins, Tyler Clippard, Ross Detwiler, Danny Espinosa, Doug Fister, Gio Gonzalez, Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, Drew Storen, Jayson Werth, Matt Williams and more. Who will have the best offseason beard? Who will be the first National to make news with some new info?

Nationals' GM Mike Rizzo is also scheduled to be on hand to talk with reporters and we'll be there to get as many quotes and as much information as possible. After a long winter, it's starting to feel like the 2014 season is finally getting underway and it all starts when the Nats meet with their fans today.

Are you going to be at NatsFest?

If so, feel free to stop us and say, "Hey." We (as in I) will be there throughout the day talking to as many players as possible to get all the info we can from the Nationals.
