The World Series shifts venues after the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals split the first two games of the 110th edition of the Fall Classic in Kauffman Stadium.

Tonight for Game 3, they're in AT&T Park where the Washington Nationals' 2014 campaign came to an end... ugh...

I thought I was over it.

I guess they're still playing baseball because I saw a game listed on the scoreboard of my MLB At Bat app.

Rumor has it it's Tim Hudson vs Jeremy Guthrie tonight in the Giants' home.

"This is what everybody hopes and dreams for throughout their career. It's obviously a bigger, brighter stage, but at the end of the day it's the same game we've played all year..." -Tim Hudson on making the first World Series start of his career

Hudson, 39, makes the first World Series start of his 16-year career tonight in AT&T Park.

He told reporters yesterday he was ready for another first in a long, distinguished run in the majors.

"Obviously it's the biggest stage," Hudson said in his pre-start press conference .

"It's the pinnacle of baseball. This is what everybody hopes and dreams for throughout their career. It's obviously a bigger, brighter stage, but at the end of the day it's the same game we've played all year. It's the same game we've played our whole lives. It's just going out there and controlling those emotions and understanding that it's still a simple game. You've got to go out there and make pitches, have a solid game plan and be mentally and physically prepared.

"I feel really prepared and ready to go both mentally and emotionally and physically, I think. I'm excited about it."
