World Series Game 6 GameThread: San Francisco Giants at Kansas City Royals

The World Series is back in Kansas City tonight for Game 6. The San Francisco Giants take a 3-2 lead over the Royals into tonight's game in Kauffman Stadium. Yordano Ventura vs Jake Peavy at 8:00 PM EDT from KC.

The San Francisco Giants' 5-0 win in Game 5 of the 110th World Series left them one victory away from a series win.

The series shifts back to Kansas City tonight where it's Yordano Ventura on the mound against Jake Peavy at 8:00 PM EDT.

Royals' skipper Ned Yost talked last night about being comfortable coming back to Kauffman Stadium a game down to the Giants at 3-2.

"I'd be maybe slightly more concerned if we were going to San Francisco, but we're not," Yost told reporters.

"We're here in our home park, where we have a real comfort level. We have Ventura on the mound. We like that. We've got Billy [Butler] back. We've got Nori [Aoki's] offense back, so we're just going to go out and play the game."

Knowing that there's no tomorrow if they don't beat the Giants tonight won't change the Royals' skipper's approach to tonight's game, however.

It's not going to impact anything," Yost said.

"We're going to go just like we've been going this whole playoffs. We're going to do anything we can do to win a ballgame. Nothing's going to be different. We're not holding anybody back."

Can the Royals live to play another day? We'll find out tonight...
