The voting for the "Funniest Moment" of the Washington Nationals' 2014 campaign, the "Most Regrettable Moment" of the season and the Nats' "Best Defensive Play" of the year is already underway.
You can vote through the links in the last sentence or through the links we'll include below...
Up next is next award of the Nationals' "Biggest Hit" of the season.
The voting is set to take place on Monday (November 10th) when we'll ask you to pick the winner. But first, we need to pick the nominees. So who had the "Biggest Hit"? How will we define "biggest"?
How about Bryce Harper's home run off Clayton Kershaw, which was the only homer a left-hander hit off the Dodgers' starter this season?:
Or how about Harper's home run off Giants' reliever Hunter Strickland in Game 1 of the NLDS, which landed in the first row of the upper deck, sailing over Jackie Robinson's retired no.42 in right field in Nats Park:
Maybe Adam LaRoche's 9th inning, game-tying, home run off Kenley Jansen earlier this season?:
Or maybe LaRoche's walk-off home run that gave the Nats' their third straight walk-off win and the seventh win of their ten-game win streak?
Did Anthony Rendon have any big hits that stand out in your memory? How about Rendon's fellow Silver Slugger winner, Ian Desmond? What about Wilson Ramos? I know there were other players on the Nats, please forgive me for not listing every one.
You nominate the hits, choose your "biggest" and we'll post the nominees and a poll on Monday...
