What do these graphs mean (this is a link)?
- Well: Stephen Strasburg (-37.1%) gets pummeled to the tune of 6 ER over 4 IP on 5Ks and 3 BBs.
- NOT a meltdown! Craig Stammen (-1.3%) gives up 0 ER in his inning of relief on 6 hits, a walk, and a K. Also, there may have been some errors and 5 runs scored.
- Your WPA leaderz: Anthony Rendon (+3.4%) is 1-2 with a single and a walk, while Jayson Werth (+3.0%) has a pair of walks.
- Get off my lawn, you kids! Steve Souza (+0.0%) gets his first MLB hit with a run-scoring single + error. Zach Walters (+0.0%) hits his first MLB HR with a 9th-inning solo shot (+0.0%) that doesn't move the needle at all.
Yes, I wrote this in the top of the 6th, that's when the WPA went to 0. Then I had to change the graph because the Nats scored one, jerks! (The graph, itself, didn't move, but the score at the top changed.) Then Walters hit one out and I had to change it again! Dangit.
