Nationals Minors: Harrisburg Senators Weekly Update

Each week, Geoff Morrow, Harrisburg Senators beat writer for the PennLive.com and Patriot-News sports, updates us on the goings on down on the farm with the Washington Nationals' Double-A affiliate.

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Some highlights from farm duty with the Harrisburg Senators, who are showing signs of snapping out of an April funk by winning their last two games -- including a three-homer game by Michael Taylor in Sunday's 10-7 victory over Bowie, then three pitchers combining on a two-hit, 9-0 shutout of New Britain Monday. The Senators (6-16) are still in last place in their division, tied with New Britain for worst record overall in the Eastern League, and rank 11th of 12 with a 5.07 team ERA.
