Gio had some trouble getting the third out in the first two innings, and it was all downhill from there. The B-lineup isn't hitting, the aces aren't hitting, and things are generally not going well.

  • Not a good outing: Gio Gonzalez (-39.0%) limps through 4.1 IP with 4 Ks and 3 walks, surrendering a pair of two-out HRs in the 1st and 2nd innings to put the game out of reach to the tune of 7 ER.
  • Tonight's WPA leader: Jayson Werth (+2.8%) is 2-3. Now if only someone else could hit.

Gio kinda burned all the WPA himself, leaving no room for anyone else to gain or lose much of notice. He got bombed...
