- Solid: Jordan Zimmermann (+27.9%) gives up 2 ER over 7 IP with 6 Ks and a walk (which scored, of course). What's a guy got to do to get a win?
- On a roll: Jayson Werth (+10.8%) is 2-3 with a walk and an RBI single to get the 6th-inning scoring started (+9.1%).
- Also good: Anthony Rendon (+11.7%) is 2-5 and Bryce Harper (+7.9%) is 2-4 with a double and a run-scoring ROE (+5.5%).
- No love: Danny Espinosa (-1.5%) doesn't have any WPA left to get for his two-run single that put the Nats up by six in the 6th (+2.7%).
- A few batters too long: Rafael Soriano (-78.4%) has the most horrific meltdown of the year, getting one out in the 9th and giving up 3 runs before exiting with runners corners on three hits (including a double and a triple), a walk, a WP, and a HBP.
- Nail that coffin shut: Jerry Blevins (-18.6%) gets one more out in the 9th before cashing in one of Sori's runners to seal the loss and earn a meltdown.
