  • Might make the playoff rotation: Gio Gonzalez (+6.7%) gives up 2 runs in 7 IP with 5 Ks and no walks.
  • Early offense: Wilson Ramos (+11.8%) one-hops the ridiculous wall just right of center for a game-tying, two-out RBI double in the 4th (+14.7%).
  • Two out rally: Ian Desmond (+11.5%) singles in Ramos to put the Nats ahead (+13.7%). Asdrubal Cabrera (+8.3%) singles in Desi a couple of batters later for the winning tally (+11.6%). Kevin Frandsen (+11.8%) follows up with a two-run single+circus play (+13.4%).
  • Good fielding: Denard Span (-6.1%) is 0-5 with 2 LOB and a nifty diving grab in the 4th.
  • Not a shutdown: Rafael Soriano (+1.3%) finishes the game with a refreshingly low-leverage 1-2-3 9th.
