  • Zimm the Younger: Jordan Zimmermann (-3.5%) "struggles" over a six innings pitched, giving up 2 runs (one of them on his own throwing error) while fanning four and walking none.
  • Zimm the Elder: Ryan Zimmerman (+25.0%) wastes no time finding his timing, going 2-3 with a seventh-inning RBI triple to put the Nats on the board (+26.4%).
  • Are triples contagious? Asdrubal Cabrera (+20.2%) follows up with his own RBI triple to tie it up (+32.6%).
  • Multi-hit master: Denard Span (+24.3%) is 2-4 with a walk and a two-out, go-ahead RBI single to cap the 7th-inning rally (+21.0%).
  • New setup paradigm? Aaron Barrett (+9.8%) and Tyler Clippard (+12.4%) each shutdowns with 1-2-3 innings in the 7th and ayeth, respectively.
  • Soriano-esque? Drew Storen (+16.6%) makes it interesting, putting runners corners before getting a game ending GDP for a shutdown of his own (+43.5%).
