Winter hasn't even started, but it's not too early to think about Spring... Training. Washington's Nationals announced their Spring Training schedule this afternoon.
The final Grapefruit League season based in Viera, Florida gets underway on March 2, 2016 when the Nats travel to Port Charlotte, Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Rays.
The next day the home opener in Space Coast Stadium takes place when the Nationals welcome the 2015 NL East Champion New York Mets into their Spring home.
What will likely (assuming the Nationals' share Spring Training home with the Houston Astros is open for business in 2017) be the last game for the Nats at Space Coast Stadium is scheduled for March 28th again the Miami Marlins.
The Mets, Cardinals, Braves, Marlins, Astros, Tigers and Yankees will all visit Viera this Spring as the Nationals and new skipper Dusty Baker try to bounce back from a disappointing 2015 campaign.
