The Washington Nationals announced their minor league coaching staffs in a press release this afternoon.
Many of the positions were already announced, but the Nats made everything official today.
In addition to all the coaches, the Nationals also announced that former bench coach Randy Knorr was named Senior Advisor to the General Manager, in charge of Player Development. Knorr managed in the Nationals' system for six seasons from 2005-2011, served as the Nats' bullpen coach at the end of 2006 and throughout 2009 and spent four seasons as the bench coach (2012-2015).
The Nationals helpfully rounded up all the changes to the various coaching staffs:
• Brian Daubach was named the hitting coach at Triple-A Syracuse. He previously served as Double-A Harrisburg’s manager.
• Matt LeCroy was named the manager of Double-A Harrisburg. He previously served as Washington’s bullpen coach.
• Brian Rupp was named Double-A Harrisburg’s hitting coach. He previously served as Single-A Potomac’s hitting coach.
• Luis Ordaz was promoted to Single-A Potomac’s hitting coach. He previously served as Single-A Hagerstown’s hitting coach.
• Amaury Garcia was named Single-A Hagerstown’s hitting coach. He previously served as short-season Single-A Auburn’s hitting coach.

• Michael Barrett will assume the role of full-time catching coordinator. He split time between that role and the manager of the GCL Nationals in 2015.
