Nats Nightly: Talking Washington Nationals daily on the air

Federal Baseball's Doghouse, the District Sports Page's Dave Nichols and I call in to Blog Talk Radio after each game and host a baseball podcast discussing the latest news on the Nats.

If you were busy on Opening Day and missed out on our elaborate "How to FBB" introductory post, we talked in it about our daily-ish (whenever we can) post-game podcast, Nats Nightly. As I explained then:

NATS NIGHTLY:

Two years ago now, Dave Nichols from the District Sports Page, [FBB writer] Doghouse and I decided to make good on something we'd talked about for years and finally start doing a nightly Nationals-themed radio show.

Each night, as soon as we can after the game is over, we get on BlogTalkRadio, post a link in the comments section of the night's post game report and talk Nationals for 15-20 minutes.

What just happened, big news, trades, etc. We cover it all, and the show is archived in a group at the bottom of FBB's front page (as seen below) and on iTunes:

Nats Nightly

We got back to work on Nats Nightly this week, doing shows for each of the first three games. If you missed any or all of the shows, here's a quick chance to catch up as we recover from Opening Week in Washington, D.C.:

Game 1 of 162 - Mets 3, Nationals 1:

Can we cover all 162 games on Nats Nightly this season? We didn't miss too many last season, and we still try to do a show every night when our respective schedules allow for it.

We should be back on the air tonight after the first game of three for the Nationals in Citizens Bank Park.
