Anthony Rendon was originally listed as part of the Harrisburg Senators' lineup for last night's game, penciled in at second for the third game of his rehab stint with the Washington Nationals' Double-A affiliate.
But before the game, Rendon was scratched.
The Nationals released the following statement on Twitter after news that Rendon was scratched got around:
Anthony Rendon was scratched from rehab game. He felt fatigued so #Nats decided to give him the day off, taking cautious course of action.

Nats' skipper Matt Williams provided reporters with more information after the Nationals' 8-4 loss to the Braves.
"Cold weather," Williams elaborated. "Knee just was not getting loose like he wanted it to, so we made sure tonight and just shut him down. He had a good work day. Took grounders, hit, did all the things, but it was a little chilly there and he had a little issue getting loose with the knee, so we just decided to be safe with that."
Rendon is not, however, back in the Senators' lineup tonight as Washington Post writer James Wagner noted on Twitter this afternoon:
Anthony Rendon, scratched last minute last night because of his knee, is not in Class AA Harrisburg's lineup tonight either.

No word yet as to why Rendon's not playing tonight.
