- Maybe give Ross another look? Tanner Roark (-21.4%) soldiers through 6.2 IP, giving up 5 runs on 4 Ks and a walk.
- At least he didn't bunt: Bryce Harper (+7.0%) is 1-3 with a walk, a TOOTBLAN, and a first-inning RBI single to get the Nats on the board (+10.7%).
- Back seems fine: Denard Span (+12.4%) is 3-5 with a double and a two-out, RBI single in the 4th (+12.4%).
- Also hitting: Anthony Rendon (+14.6%) is 1-3 with a walk and two-run ROE with two down in the 4th (+13.4%).
- Work on the defense: Clint Robinson (+4.8%) is 2-4 with a second-inning solo shot to put the Nats ahead (+11.5%).
- One of the more embarrassing meltdowns of the season: Aaron Barrett (-27.1%) has a walk and a strikeout in relief in the ayeth... and the strikeout ends up coming around to score the go-behind run.
- Unhelpful: Wilson Ramos (-14.6%) is 0-4 with 2 Ks and 4 LOB.
