  • Yes, more like Joe Boss: Joe Ross (+6.1%) gets snubbed by WPA because of the Nats' prolific scoring, giving up 2 runs over 8 IP with 8 Ks and a walk. That's a danged solid outing, but take a breath everyone--first time around the league.
  • You can't stop him between the lines: Bryce Harper (+16.8%) is 3-3 with a walk, a first inning RBI single to get the Nats on the board (+10.0%), and a HBP off the lower quad that took him out of the game.
  • Charging: Wilson Ramos (+19.0%) is 2-5 with a majestic, two-out, two-run homer to put the Nats ahead by 3 in the 5th (+21.1%).
  • He found some reserve Escobar to give: Yunel Escobar (+22.7%) is 2-5 with a go-ahead, two-run bomb in the 3rd (+21.1%).
