Game 63 WPA: 2/3s perfect, 100% awesome. Nats win 4-0.

Scherzer was the whole story, although I don't understand how he went 9 innings with all those strikeouts. Doesn't he know they drive his pitch count up?

  • It tastes like awesome: Max Scherzer (+41.0%) is perfect through 6 and ends up with a CG shutout, fanning a new Nats-record 16 batters, walking one, and giving up a solitary Texas-leaguer just out of Rendon's reach.
