Game 122 WPA: Ross is again boss. Nats win 6-1.

Joe Ross has one of his best outings of the season, and the bats decide to support him with many runs.

Dude, I am so wasted right now, I can't even. (Not an actual quote.)

(What do these graphs mean?)

  • Chief executive? I believe so: Joe Ross (23.0%) gives up 1 run in 7 IP with 4 Ks and no walks.
  • Denard who? Michael Taylor (+22.3%) is 2-3 with a walk and a two-out, two-run home run for the winning tallies in the second (+21.6%).
  • !Vamos! Wilson Ramos (+9.3%) is 2-4 with a 4th-inning RBI double to put the Nats up by 3 (+8.2%).
  • I had to explain "Tony Two Bags" to the Brewers fans who was sitting in front of me: Anthony Rendon (+11.8%) is 2-2 with a pair of walks, a two-out RBI double  in the 4th (+2.5%), and a stat-padding solo shot in the 7th (+1.4%).
  • [Sad trombone]: Bryce Harper (-13.5%) is 1-4 with 3 LOB.

Tonight's WPA brought to you by my dream was the one that was about nothing, it has to have been because this was back in the eighties, I SWEAR!!
