Game 156 WPA: Another den Dekker triumph! Nats win, MdD solidifies his spot on the roster for 2016.

Matt den Dekker has another good night at the plate, including two doubles and a dinger. I think Max pitched okay, too.

(What do these graphs mean?)

  • Eh, I've seen better: Max Scherzer (+32.9% pitching, +5.6% hitting) gives up 1 run in 8 IP with 10 Ks and 3 walks. Work on the control, dude! He's 2-3 at the plate.
  • I could see him as a 4th OFer next year: Matt den Dekker (+10.7%) is 3-4 with a double, an RBI double to get the Nats on the board in the 4th (+10.3%), and a solo bomb to pad his stats some more in the 6th (+3.6%).
  • Also contributing: Michael Taylor (+5.5%) hits a two-out RBI single to put the Nats up by two for the eventual winning run (+11.2%).
  • Also junk-timing: Wilson Ramos (+1.5%) hits a two-out solo shot in the 5th to pad his stats, too (+7.9%).
