Max Scherzer and Clayton Kershaw are the expected Game 1 starters for their respective teams though Nats’ skipper Dusty Baker said Sunday he would wait until Thursday to announce his starters for the series.
So... a 5:38 start on a Friday in D.C.? That should be fun. Get there early. Though barring extra innings (watch me jinx this) it should remove concerns about fans having to leave early to catch the last Metro train.
More info, if any, on the Nationals’ travel recommendations for Friday when it’s available.
But now we know: Game 1 of the NLDS in D.C. starts at 5:38 PM on Friday. Wear red like the Nats tell you.
