Rough night (choice #1): Max Scherzer (-10.6% pitching, -10.6% hitting) gets roughed up on both sides of the plate, giving up 4 runs in 6 IP on 5 Ks and no walks, as well as going 0-2 with 4 LOB.
Putting on the rally: Anthony Rendon (+11.9%) is 2-4 with a two-out, two-run single to get the Nats on the board in the third (+12.6%).
Putting out the rally (choice #2): Danny Espinosa (-17.5%) is 0-3 with 3 Ks and 6 LOB, killing a rally with each of his 3 ABs.
Not glorious (choice #3): Chris Heisey pinch hits with the tying run on second in the ayeth, but strikes out to end the inning (-9.8%).
Solid: Sammy Solis (+10.1%) pitches two scoreless in relief to keep the game within one and earn a shutdown.
