Nationals players took Halloween very seriously

Like, dog wearing a ninja costume seriously.

Harper went along with his ninja crew for Halloween.

Unfortunately, Halloween is over (but baseball season isn’t!). While the Cubs and the Indians can dress as themselves for the holiday, other baseball players don’t have that distinct privilege.

A few Nats players took to social media to show off their costumes (we’ve already seen Max Scherzer’s tight pants) — let’s take a look.

Bryce Harper’s rad Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume

Harper and his fiancé Kay Varner dressed up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with a kid. Their intensity is impressive, and seeing Bryce in a giant turtle suit is very exciting. 14/10 for the dog.

Jose Lobaton and his family as Things 1, 2, and 3

Happy Halloween. THING 1-2-3 and friend 1-2 hehehe

Jose Lobaton’s family is the family that, no matter how hard your family tries, always outdoes you on Halloween. They went all-in. They cannot be beaten.

Gio Gonzalez and his family as the Addams family

Happy Halloween #AddamsFamily

Gonzalez and his fiancé dressed up as the iconic family and LOOK AT BABY ENZO. LOOK AT HIS MINI-MUSTACHE. The only way this could have been better was if Gonzalez’s dog, Stitch, made an appearance.

Bonus: Someone went as Jayson Werth to the White House Halloween party

He’s a little off to the right there, in the beard. Well played, young man. Well played.
