McCutchen? Sale? Melancon? All are on the table this week at the Winter Meetings.

The Nats apparently think they have prospects to turn a deal to bring both Sale and McCutchen to D.C.

Nats may yet go after Matt Wieters
Even though the Nats traded for Derek Norris, is it possible that they'll still go after the top catcher in the free-agent market?

On another note, Nationals not after Wieters, and do not plan to flip Norris. They don't expect him to be Ramos, but see value there.

The Nationals appear to be headed for the center of activity during this year's Winter Meetings at National Harbor just outside of D.C., as the team looks to acquire two of the three players (Mark Melancon, Andrew McCutchen, Chris Sale) they've been targeting.

What does Derek Norris have to offer the Nats?
Norris had the worst season of his career last season -- but that's no reason to think he can't be a valuable part of the 2017 Nationals club.

Are the Nationals out on Mark Melancon?
Washington offered Melancon a four-year contract, but for less money than what other teams have reportedly offered.
