Potomac Nationals turn five Nats into bobbleheads for 2016

The Nationals' D.C. area Single-A affiliate is giving away bobbleheads this year featuring five of your favorite big league Nats. Okay, Lucas Giolito is not a big-leaguer yet, but he's close enough to count for this.

The Potomac Nationals just announced the dual winners of the fan vote to round out their bobblehead giveaway schedule.  With the addition of these two fine pieces of art, it appears that the P-Nats have a pretty tremendous slate of bobbleheads to give away this year.  D.C. area fans should keep an eye on the following six Saturday nights:

  • May 28 - Bryce Harper MVP bobblehead
  • June 11 - Anthony "The Ant" Rendon half Ant, half Man figurine
  • July 9 - Danny Espinosa Fu Manchu bobblehead (fan vote)
  • July 23 - Seinfeld Night - Frank Constanza bobblehead
  • August 6 - Lucas Giolito #1 Nats Prospect bobblehead
  • August 20 - Gio Gonzalez & Stitch bobblehead (fan vote) - Read all about Stitch here.

1,500 of each bobblehead will be produced and handed out on a first come, first served basis. The Potomac Nationals play at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, VA. There is a sixth bobblehead, a 1985 Barry Bonds throwback, that will be handed out only to P-Nat season ticket holders.

The big league Nationals in D.C. have not yet announced their promotional schedule and to be honest they will be hard pressed to match the variety of bobbleheads that their Single-A affiliate is throwing at us, not to mention the host of other promotions they have lined up this year.

Fans of the Nationals and of bobbleheads may want to find an excuse to head south and collect one of these fantastic Nationals bobbleheads to keep around the house.
