While we're all caught up in Bryce Harper's drastic mission to challenge the unwritten rules to make baseball more fun (#FunGate2k16), we've probably forgotten about at least a day's worth of Spring Training action - here's what you may have missed.

We can legitimately have a Jonathan Papelbon bobblehead

Papelbon is on the ballot. Odds that some Mets fans hijack it? Odds that even if Papelbon does win, he won't be announced as the winner? Lots of intrigue here.

Michael A. Taylor, "silent assassin".

Outside of his "tremendous power", Taylor needs to work on his contact. However, the young outfielder has a sense of humor and wit not too many know about, according to Anthony Rendon.

Bryce Harper has aspirations for the game of baseball (more fun and entertaining)
In ESPN the Magazine, there's a really long article about Bryce Harper. Like, really long. What most took away from the article, which talked about everything from his hair, his college career and his personality, was that Bryce Harper wants more Odell Beckham Jrs, Steph Currys, celebrations and fun in the game. Some Giants pitchers didn't take the comment too well, but as proven by his 2014 NLDS performance, Harper obviously doesn't take what Giants pitchers want into account too often.

Oliver Perez to play in World Baseball Classic preliminaries
The lefty, who pitched for Mexico in the 2006, 2009 and 2013 tournaments, will pitch for his country in next week's qualifying tournament.

Boswell: The Nats at the heart of the order need to rest more
After a few unhealthy seasons, Thomas Boswell proposes that it may make sense to play some subs more instead of losing hundreds of games out from their best.

On a happy note: Danny Espinosa and his wife are expecting a baby.

Today's Game: Mets vs Nationals, 1:05 PM
