Ryan Zimmerman is making his Spring debut. Max Scherzer is making his third start. Dusty Baker has Jayson Werth in the two-hole today... which is interesting. Also, Bryan Harper is listed on today's lineup card, so the left-handed reliever is apparently suiting up today and joining his younger brother in the Nationals' clubhouse.
The best part?
It's all available all over the place, on the television with MASN, the MLB Network (and MLB.tv) carrying the game and even on the radio on 106.7 the FAN in D.C. if you're out and about enjoying the action as you go about your day.
Grapefuit League action gets underway at 1:05 PM EDT when the Nationals take on the Cardinals live in Viera, Florida's Space Coast Stadium.
Scherzer labored through a 37-pitch inning last time out which he said was good preparation for working out of jams in the regular season, but he'll likely want to avoid wasting that many pitches in one frame this afternoon when he takes on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Ben Revere (CF) is leading off, followed by Werth (LF), Harper (RF), Zimmerman (DH), Daniel Murphy (2B), Anthony Rendon (3B), Clint Robinson (1B), Wilson Ramos (C) and Danny Espinosa (SS).
