Wire Taps: Nats win in 16; Max Scherzer starts in place of Joe Ross; Getting to know Daniel Murphy

New, comments

Well, that was... something. All the news and links from the weekend, including the game that would never end.

Today is an off day, although can it really be considered to be one? The Nationals enjoyed a ballgame that ran nearly six hours on Sunday, which lasted sixteen innings, the equivalent of nearly two games. On the bright side, we got to see two presidents races, a Bryce Harper home run (on the day he wasn't supposed to be playing), and an Oliver Perez surprise bunt. How do you summarize a game like that?

Here's the news from Nats Park.
