There was no baseball in NatsTown on Monday, but there was plenty of news.

Nationals win Bullpen of the Week honors
After the bullpen only gave up one run in their sixteen inning stint, the Nationals were given the honors. Jonathan Papelbon and Yusmeiro Petit have led the way, but the entire bullpen contributed, recording eighty outs and twenty five strikeouts, while only giving up four runs. (Thanks to LegoEgo for pointing this out in the comments).

Nobody was sure what to think of the Nationals' bullpen. Now, it's among the best.
This offseason, the Nationals retooled almost all of their bullpen. At the beginning of the season, nobody really knew what they were getting into. Now, it's smooth sailing in the pen.

Max Schrock impresses to begin the season
A fifteenth round pick, Schrock has enjoyed a good start to the season at Class-A Hagerstown, hitting .338 with ten RBI and nine stolen bases.
