Gio faded a bit toward the end, but the bullpen picked him up. Rendon and Werth seem to like the new order so far.

  • Pithy pitching comment: Gio Gonzalez (+8.0%) leaves with the bases loaded and one out in the 7th after giving up one run, striking out 5 and walking one.
  • Prodigal second baseman: Daniel Murphy (+10.6%) hits a two-out RBI single to tie the game in the third (+13.6%).
