Here's the latest from 1500 South Capitol Street:
Dusty Baker gets win 1700
Baker was stuck on 1699 wins - for a day, at least. He finally crossed the mark last night with a 2-1 win against the Cardinals.
Meet all the Bryce Harper lookalikes
Now, can this trend stop?
Everything that happened (off-field) to the Nationals this May
From the Negro Leagues Museum, to bat giveaways, to the Tonight Show, to Dan Kolko's sunglasses, it was an eventful May.
Bryce Harper hit a home run without batting gloves, then preceded to cut up his batting gloves
Harper launched a bomb into the third deck sans-gloves. The gloves' bad luck didn't stop there, as Harper then preceded to maul them with a pair of scissors.
Update:
Bryce said he cut up his batting gloves after the homer because he's tired of people rifling through the trash and selling his stuff on eBay

Daniel Murphy follows Bryce Harper, gets day off
Murphy got a rare off-day on Thursday, sitting out all of the game against the Cardinals. (Baker wanted Murphy to "get his legs worked on and everything back strong 'til the next day off")
Dusty Baker presented 107-year-old Virginia McLaurin with a jersey on-field
It's been a whirlwind year for McLaurin - she danced with the Obamas this February, and now this. Believe it or not, in 107 years, it was her first Nats game, which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the Nationals didn't exist until she was 96.
Tonight's Game: Cardinals vs Nationals - 7:05 PM (MASN, WUSA 9, WJFK)
Probable Pitchers: Jaime Garcia (3-4, 3.59 ERA) vs Max Scherzer (5-3, 3.80 ERA)
