The dream of the perfect road trip has been vanquished. The 10-0 string will have to wait, as the Nationals have some bigger fish to fry, including getting Bryce Harper to hit - that puts him at 2-28 in his last eight games. Ouch.

Here's the news from Kansas City.

Revere headed towards Thursday return, still rehabbing in Syracuse
Center fielder Ben Revere is still playing at AAA Syracuse while recovering from his oblique injury. Most estimate that he'll be back in the majors for the Nationals' first game against Chicago, this Thursday.

Dusty Baker had the Nationals rub a former player's ears
Kirk Rueter's ears were subject to lots of rubbing from the Nationals after being swept by the Phillies. In the four games played after that, the Nats went 4-0.

Ten years and one day ago today, the Lerner family bought the Washington Nationals
The family bought the team for $450 million, and never looked back.

Bryce Harper signs ten year extension... with Under Armour
Harper's contract with Under Armour is believed to be the largest endorsement deal ever for a baseball player. Take note, Lerner family.

Bronson Arroyo changes arm slot in attempt to return quickly from injury
Arroyo's right shoulder is still troubling him, and although the righty was aiming for June as a return date, there was still too much pain from the three-quarters arm slot to continue throwing. Rather than waiting longer, Arroyo chose instead to start pitching from the sidearm slot.

The P-Nats are playing not one, not two, but three games tomorrow.
A tripleheader! Originally, a doubleheader was scheduled on Tuesday for the Nationals' single-A affiliates, but as another storm rolled in, the doubleheader was cancelled, and tacked on to yet another game.
