Stephen Strasburg improved to 10-0 this season with last night's win and reached double digits in Ks for the 28th time in his major league career.
With another 10+ K game, the right-hander passed one time Montreal Expos' starter Pedro Martinez (27) on the Expos/Nationals franchise list for the most 10+ strikeout games.
Strasburg's win over the Phillies was his thirteenth straight, continuing a thirteen-start win streak that stretches all the way back to a September 9, 2015 loss to the New York Mets.

His thirteen-start win streak tied Washington Senators' starters Stan Coveleski (5/9-7/26/1925) and "The Big Train", Walter Johnson, for the third-longest win streak by a starter in D.C. baseball history
Most impressive, however, when it comes to the unique nature of his accomplishment, as ESPN Stats & Information noted last night, was the fact that Strasburg was the first National League pitcher since Astros' reliever Juan Agosto in 1998 and the first starter since San Diego Padres' righty Andy Hawkins in 1985 to start a season 10-0.
Strasburg is just the third pitcher MLB-wide since 2000 to start a season 10-0, which prompted the Topps company to create a unique baseball card to acknowledge his accomplishment:
Here's Topps' explanation/description of the idea behind these unique Topps NOW cards:
"Topps NOW offers trading cards featuring MLB's best moments immediately after they occur. These special edition cards are only available for purchase within a 24-hour window after they launch on Topps.com, and Topps will print and deliver only the amount that is purchased within this time frame."
