After exacting some revenge on the Phillies by sweeping them at home, the Nationals are heading to Cincinnati for a much-deserved day off. Will Bryce Harper photobomb more fans? What museums will Stephen Strasburg go to? We can only wait to find out.

Murphy won't hit .400, but it's looking more and more like the Nationals got the steal of the century by signing their new second baseman.

Major League Baseball informed both parties earlier that, unless barred by the court, they would be taking the negotiations to a panel. Another step closer to that elusive money... and another step closer to that elusive Bryce Harper extension.

At the beginning of the season, the bullpen was the Nationals' biggest weakness. Now, it's a big strength.
It was a mix of old and new, a problematic melting pot. Now, it's among the best in the National League.
