Tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST on the MLB Network and on MLB.com, the Baseball Writers’ Association of America will announce the results of the voting for the 73rd BBWAA Hall of Fame election.
Coverage and analysis starts at 3:00 PM with the live announcement from Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson scheduled for 6:00 PM.
If you haven’t been following along with Ryan Thibodaux (@NotMrTibbs) on Twitter, he’s been on top of the voting with his BBHOF Tracker, so you can see the results of publicly available ballots. Check it out HERE.
Will Tim Raines finally earn election to the Hall of Fame in his 10th year on the ballot? It’s looking likely.
Will former Nationals’ catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez (2010-2011) make it? Do you think of Pudge as a Nat? He won’t likely go into the Hall with a Nationals cap on, but he finished his career in the nation’s capital...
[ed. note - “Vladimir Guerrero not making it makes the Montreal Expos fans in me sad.”]
Are you (assuming your a Nationals fan reading here) interested in the Hall of Fame election, or will it take a few years until some players known more as Nationals are under consideration for you to get into it?
As of two hours ago, here’s how things stand. [Note: “75% needed for election.”]:
