(What do these graphs and percentages mean?)
- BABIP’d and bombed: Stephen Strasburg (-24.5%) gives up 5 runs over 6 IP, fanning 9 and walking 2.
- Master of the two-out, two-run deficit: Michael Taylor (+7.2%) singles in with two down in the 4th to get the Nats within two (+8.8%), then lines a two-run dinger high off the back wall of the visiting bullpen to get them back within two with two down in the aeyth (+6.6%).
- So typical: Jayson Werth (+20.8%) works 10 pitches into the first AB of the 9th before smashing the eleventh over the out-of-town scoreboard to get the Nats within one (+11.0%).
- Rally: Bryce Harper (+27.1%) follows Werth with a double to put the tying run in scoring position (+24.4%). After an out and a walk, Anthony Rendon (+15.9%) singles to load the bases (+20.2%), then Matt Weiters (+50.5%) delivers his third hit of the night, a two-RBI single for the walkoff.
