I need a pair of Bryce Harper’s cleats.

As I was watching the Washington Nationals take on the New York Mets on a beautiful Fourth of July, it was hard to shy away from the fact that outfielder Bryce Harper cleats were on point once again.

Harper brought out his signature red and blue Under Armour cleats to celebrate Independence Day.

Looking at his cleats made me want to glance back at all the times Harper wore special cleats that made me want a pair even though I don’t play baseball.

Let’s start off with Harper’s cleats for the Fourth of July last year. The cleats featured the logo of the United States Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard.

Then you got Harper’s Memorial Day cleats that honored the military.

Also there are my personal favorites, the Jackie Robinson cleats with the image of Robinson sliding into home.

And you can’t forget his Mother’s Day kit that featured matching cleats, gloves and bats.

You have seen basketball and football players wear customized shoes and cleats.

New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is prime example as he has wore fire cleats during games.

It’s pretty cool that Harper is doing the same thing on the baseball level.

Harper has always preached about making baseball fun again. With the custom design cleats, gloves and iconic hair flip to go along with his stellar play on the field, Harper is doing his best to make the game fun.

I just can’t wait to see the cleats he will wear in Miami for the 2017 All-Star Game.
